The location of the object of study is a plot of land in which an urban building built at the end of the 19th century, called “Pensão Internacional”, is located.

 

​ The proposed building will be aligned with the existing buildings, the terrain, with a triangular configuration, enjoys an excellent solar orientation, with plenty of relief for all quarters.

​ The design of the building was based on very clear guidelines, defined based on the analysis of the urban environment, given its undefined urban and architectural characteristics and the need to demolish the existing one, the intervention did not intend to maintain the characteristics of the existing construction, but rather to implement in its reconstruction the architectural features of a more timeless style that fits in with the thermal spirit.
